Dixie-Darlene Martin

Dixie-Darlene Martin, 57, our loving daughter, mother, and grandmother, was called to join our Lord on Friday, April 19, 2002. She was loved by her many friends and family and will be missed by all who knew her. She survived acute lymphoblastic leukemia and was on a liver transplant list. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star, belonged to the VFW, and attended the Hepatitis C Group in Albuquerque. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Mortrude of Belen; her daughter, Dayna Curliss of Los Lunas; four grandchildren, Darleen Eller, Danielle Lopez, Colt Otero, and Dalton Kittrick; and one great-granddaughter, Victoria Beasley. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2002, 2:30 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM 87002.
