This evening, I recreived the following message from Randy Biddle, who is one of our Guest members from Reseda High School:
"I have corresponded with Ken frequently since the Taft 50th.About a week ago, his wife Leslee replied tokllarson@earthlink.net.That Ken suffered two heart attacks and passed."
Note from Sandy Malek:
I located the services announcement at a mortuary in New Hampshire (Ken and Leslee had recently moved to Rhode Island). New Hampshire may be the closest to them. The mortuary had an entry for Kenneth Lee Larson, published on March 25, 2025, to note that the mortuary had no notice of a published obituary. I infer from this that death occurred sometime in March, 2025.

Kenny was one of a kind. He was a thoughtful jock, what a combination. I always loved getting his take on things. His comments would crack you up, then himself.
My wife and I visited Kenny and Leslee on their Chesapeake acreage in 2017. It was great to see them after 35 years and he just reveled in their new "eastern" way of life. Boy, it couldn't have been more different from growing up in Tarzana.
Kenny's dislike of technology made it a bit difficult to keep up with him. But I've had nagging thoughts that I should get in touch with him in the last few weeks and now this announcement. Time is not our friend, anymore. Farewell to a really good guy.
