I was lucky to be a friend of Ralph's at Taft. His circle of friends included Ron Drake, Bob Johanssen, Pudge Crystal (Pat Tyrone) and me. I visited his well kept home in 1962, and sat next to him and Bob at the last reunion. I must have changed a lot, for Ralph didn't recognize me till I introduced myself. He stood up and embraced me.
