I remember watching Gary win the Class C breaststroke LA city championships in the 10th grade. We were at Canoga HS before Taft opened.

Ran cross country with Tom in High School. Ate lunch at his mom's table in Tobanga Canyon, surved "kILLER Dana" after sleeping under his car on a rainy night while on our way to Mexico. Great fun, great man.

I was told of Laurie's death by my mom one afternoon. I knew her from several classes and almost went to tke senior prom with her. She was a beautiful person.
