Janet "Jan" Tauber Luther

I have been living in Minneapolis since 1977. I worked as a service rep for the phone company for a few years until a car accident forced me to leave before retirement. After I had recovered to the point that I could do a few things, I traveled the country for 5 years with a group of coin and jewelry buyers. You may have seen a two page ad asking to bring in your old coins and jewelry for cash. That was us.
I also became a Certified Massage Therapist as I had had several injuries in my accident and knew exactly where people needed help and how to do that. I could feel their pain and that was very helpful to my clients.
Music has always been in my life and after my divorce in 1980, I took up singing again, taking part in various talent contests in the minneapolis area.

I also love traveling and my last trip was to Greece, Turkey and Paris. Of course I do take a lot of trips back to California to see my brother and sister. He lives in Valencia and she is in Sacramento. My brother flies for American Airlines so I am very lucky to be able to fly for free. Yeah I have also taken a few cruises to Alaska and warm weather islands. This summer (2014) I am going to England with my brother and sister. We have just found out about all our new relatives in England and are going to meet them after Facebooking them for the last 2 years.
I have reconnected with a few of my classmates and am having a good time talking with them and emailing with them. There is nothing like old friends. Anyone who wants to reconnect with me is more than welcome. I hope to hear from some of you soon.
