I was sad to hear of Deanna’s passing.  I remember her not only from high school but from grade school as well.  As others have said, she was pretty, kind, and pleasant to be with.  And I am fortunate enough to have enjoyed her in later life at various reunions.  Many of us have fond memories of her, and wish Bruce and their family peace and comfort in these trying times of loss.

Deanna's beautiful smile and loving heart will be missed. Our friendship in high school was full of fun and laughter. She will always be a memory I will cherish.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Deanna’s husband and family.  I first met Deanna at Hughes Jr. High.  Such a fun and high energy person.  She loved to dance, and I remember Swing dancing with her at many of the Hughes dances.  She would light up as we showed off our moves around the dance floor.  I never forgot how much fun it was dancing with her.  And apparently, she didn’t either as she came up and grabbed my hand at the 30th reunion and said, “Let’s Dance.”  It was just like old times.  Rest peacefully, dear Deanna.  I know you are dancing with the angels.

So very sorry to hear of Deanna's passing.  She was a delightful, fun friend.  I first met her in 8th grade at Our Lady of Grace School, and continued being a schoolmate through Taft.  I know Nanette Bamberg stayed in touch with Deanna and Bruce over these years.  I am sorry for the loss Bruce and family are experiencing.  Know many friends share your sadness.

Deanna,        With a heavy heart I want to send your family and friends my thoughts and prayers. I can still see your great smile and hear your contagious laugh. I remember fondly times we ran around together in Woodland Hills.  I so regret I missed our last reunion this year, the only one. Would have loved visiting with you and Bruce. What a great love story!

Deanna was my best friend in grad school. Though we kept in touch, we really re-connected in high school. As young girls, spent mant hours learning to sew.  She would always bring up the special memory of escorting my little sister, Mary Margaret to school on her first day.  I spent many summers with Deanna and her grandmother.in her grandmother's trailer.  Deanna's dad would haul the trailer all over for Nana. The Zanutto's had one of the first swimming pools of my friends.  We spent hours swiming.  Deanna loved the boating she and Bruce did.  She would come down for reunions and lunches with the Our Lady of Grace reunions.  She never missed a Taft reunion and loved to see old friends.  I miss her and pray for Bruce and the girls in this time.  Love, Nanette .  .
