Wolf and his girlfriend, Linda Barclay, later his wife, were part of a group of friends who used to play bridge after school. I remember going on a hay ride somewhere in the San Fernando Valley hills with them while still at Taft, and happened to connect with Linda during the summer of 1962 while I was living with a Mexican family in Mexico City before returning in September to start at UCLA.
I had not known of Wolf's passing and wonder if anyone can shed any light on it.
Wolf was my greatest love. We dated from 8th grade until we married after our freshman year in college. A UCLA underdgrad with med school at USC. We had 2 wonderful sons. He died suddenly at 34 years after only 3 years as an anesthesiologist. The autopsy showed heart damage. What a huge waste.
I remember Wolf fondly. When we were in junior high we rode bikes together in the summer. We both played piano. I remember he played a wicked version of Chopin's "Minute Waltz." I marveled that he had the same cool first name as Mozart. Wolf taught be numerous German words. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.--John Puckett
